Soulslinger: Envoy of Death

Streamers Connected partnered with Headup to raise awareness and visibility for the demo of Soulslinger: Envoy of Death during Steam Next Fest in October 2023, ahead of its release. This roguelite FPS, set in a western-fantasy universe called Haven, casts players as a gunslinger battling The Cartel, a group bent on harnessing souls to break free from the afterlife. The game’s narrative weaves a tale of grief, defiance, and the quest to cheat death.

To amplify the title’s narrative and mechanics, Streamers Connected devised a two pronged approach where prior to the fest, creators built anticipation through social media teasers about their upcoming livestreams.

During the fest, creators not only delved deep into the title’s rich lore and gameplay on Twitch but also engaged their audiences in real-time feedback sessions. This dual approach not only generated buzz but also provided invaluable insights to the developers for refining the title further.
